Beyond excited to share that I've started as the Voter Protection and Access Director for the Maine Democratic Party Coordinated Campaign for the 2024 election in Maine! In this crucial election year, with so much at stake, I'm excited to lead this effort to ensure Maine voters are able to exercise their right to vote.

Interested in volunteering with our voter protection team? Send me a message; we have several opportunities this election season that we'll need help with. No experience necessary!

It was a privilege and a joy to participate last week in the Harvard Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation symposium: “The Electoral College: What’s to be Done?” At a moment when Maine is on the precipice of joining the National Popular Vote compact I enjoyed the opportunity to hear from so many scholars and practitioners about what addressing the fatal flaws of our current presidential electoral system might look like. It was particularly serendipitous that I had the opportunity to give remarks on the implications of Maine’s “district method” of allocating electoral votes the very week that Nebraska saw a serious effort to move from that method to winner-take-all. As we aim to better live up to the principles of “one person, one vote” in Maine and across the country through movements like the National Popular Vote, I know there’s lots of lessons and ideas I’ll be taking from this unique opportunity.
