Today marks my 21st anniversary at Walker & Dunlop. Hard to believe I've been here long enough to legally drink!
In 21 years we have grown this company from being a small, family-owned business into one of the world's largest commercial real estate finance companies. The firm was worth around $25 million when I joined in 2003, and today has an enterprise value of more than $4 billion. And that is all thanks to the incredible people of Walker & Dunlop.
I love this photo of my dad and me from many years ago. Family businesses are tricky things, and I have been honored to run the company my grandfather founded and that my father handed over to me with such grace and skill.
Our success lies with our people, and the men and women that dedicate their time and efforts to not only providing exceptional service to our clients, but building and maintaining the culture that makes W&D unique. I'm deeply thankful to every member of the W&D team over the past 21 years for all you have done and all the success we have achieved together. 🙏
