Yana's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in International Sales and Marketing Management from Business Academy Aarhus in Denmark, along with an AP degree in Marketing Management from the Danish Academy of Business and Technology. She also studied Mathemathics and IT at 91 NEG German Language Highschool.
Throughout her career, Yana has been involved in various organizations and held diverse roles. She has been a member of Women Defining AI, co-founder and COO at Question Base participating in Techstars Fall'23, a judge at The Webby Awards, and a member of the old girls club. Yana has also worked as a Senior Product Manager at iPaper, a Strategy Consultant at Monolig, and has been part of the Alchemist Accelerator alumni network.

She was a co-founder of Swipes Incorporated and later involved in market strategy at BMC Business Consult. Yana has been actively engaged in the startup community, having organized events such as Startup Weekend and Venture Cup.
