Yaron Goland is a highly regarded technical program manager and software architect with a rich history of contributing to defining the modern Internet and advancing scalability standards.

With a keen focus on assembling exceptional teams to develop massively scalable software infrastructures, Yaron brings a wealth of experience as a software architect and technical program manager.

His career highlights include leading the Thali open source project, designing OAuth 2.0, architecting the first access control service in Azure, serving as the GPM for Cosmos (Microsoft's Exabyte scale data analysis service), designing the transport layer for Universal Plug and Play, PMing AJAX/XMLHTTP into IE, and leading the WebDAV design team.

Currently, Yaron is on a mission to empower Microsoft and its customers to maximize the value of their data. This involves creating tools that facilitate data discovery, usage understanding, lineage tracking, governance, compliance (GDPR, CCPA, SOX), and data quality enhancements.

Yaron Goland holds a B.S. in Computer Science & Engineering from UCLA and has held various prominent positions in organizations like Microsoft, BEA Systems, Openwave, Crossgain, and CoreTech.
