Yasmin BARWANITZ is a recently graduated young professional with a strong passion for conflict prevention and environmental studies, particularly focusing on Food Security and Gender Studies.

She possesses a diverse educational background, including studies in History and Society, Political Science, and a Master of Science in Human Security with a specialization in Environmental Studies and Conflict Analysis.

Yasmin has valuable work experience in both public and NGO sectors, with roles such as Communications Associate and Research and Communications Intern at the Uganda Women's Action Programme, as well as a Project Assistant at the Auswärtiges Amt in Germany.

She has also held positions at World Food Programme as a Carlo Schmid Fellow, reflecting her commitment to addressing humanity's long-term crises through cross-sectoral opportunities.
