Yaw Owusu

Pediatric Cardiology Fellow

Dr. Yaw Owusu is a highly accomplished medical professional with a diverse educational background. He holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Morehouse School of Medicine, a Bachelor's Degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from James Madison University, and studied Biology at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Owusu completed his high school education at West Potomac High School and St. Augustine’s College, specializing in General Science.

Throughout his academic journey, Dr. Owusu has been actively involved in various organizations, where he honed his skills and expertise. He has served as a Pediatric Cardiology Fellow at Emory University School of Medicine, a Pediatric Resident Physician at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and a Research Assistant at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Additionally, he was a MHSCDA Scholar at the University of Michigan Medical School, a Student Assistant specializing in Human Physiology at James Madison University, a Summer Medical and Dental Education Program Scholar at Duke University School of Medicine, and a Research Assistant at his alma mater, James Madison University.
