Yen Tham, currently heading Astro's Marketing Services for the Media Sales division, brings 15 years of valuable experience in the broadcast media industry.

Yen joined Astro in December 2004 with a vision to assist marketers in enhancing brand power and has since achieved significant milestones within the company.

She spearheaded the creation of the largest World Cup campaign in Malaysian TV history in 2010, valued at RM60 million in collaboration with Maxis, showcasing her prowess in campaign development and execution.

Yen Tham is credited with the successful launch of Astro Power Hour, the first Pay TV advertising program catering to SMEs, which has contributed substantially to revenue growth and bolstered Astro's market position annually.

As an advocate for innovation, Yen Tham has played a pivotal role in driving advancements in the Malaysian advertising industry. She oversaw the introduction of a new TV audience measurement system in collaboration with Kantar Media in 2015.

Her initiative to transform traditional media screenings into engaging conferences featuring industry leaders discussing the convergence of big data and human insights led to the establishment of the QUAKE summit, recognized with the Best Idea for Business Events at the 2018 MARKies Award.

Yen Tham's educational background includes studying STPM at SM Sultan Abdul Samad and earning a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from Universiti Sains Malaysia.

Prior to her current role at Astro, Yen held positions as a Media Planner at OMD Media Direction and as a Media Executive at R&F Media Services Sdn Bhd, showcasing her diverse experience in the media landscape.
