Yevgeniy (Jim) Brikman, a multi-talented individual, excels in programming, writing, speaking, traveling, and weightlifting. He is a renowned figure in the DevOps world and a published author with a strong background in building scalable infrastructure. As the co-founder of Gruntwork, he leads a company offering top-tier products and services for establishing robust DevOps Foundations. Brikman is the author of three well-received books: "Fundamentals of DevOps and Software Delivery," "Terraform: Up & Running," and "Hello, Startup."

Brikman's educational journey includes obtaining a Master of Engineering in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both from Cornell University. Additionally, he completed his diploma at Marblehead High School, showcasing his commitment to academic excellence.

Throughout his career, Brikman has held key roles in various prestigious organizations. He served as a Co-Founder of Gruntwork, Founder of Atomic Squirrel, and as an Author at O'Reilly Media. Prior to this, he garnered significant experience as a Staff Software Engineer at LinkedIn, a Senior Software Engineer at LinkedIn, a Software Engineer at TripAdvisor, and a Software Engineer at Cisco Systems. His diverse skill set was further refined during his tenure as a CS 211 Teaching Assistant at Cornell University and as a Software Engineer (Summer Intern) at Thomson Financial. Moreover, he contributed to the digital landscape as a Student Webmaster at Cornell University, illustrating his versatility and passion for technology.
