Highlights
Today, ROOM makes room for change with the launch of a new suite of larger format pre-fab rooms bringing adaptive architecture to more offices than ever before. We’re excited to introduce our three new products: the Meeting Room, Open Meeting Room, and Focus Room, to help organizations return to their workspaces and create improvements that last well beyond the pandemic response.
Developed as smarter alternatives to traditional construction, saving time and money, our new products are purpose-built for collaboration and concentration. Building on the successes of our signature phone booth– sustainable soundproofing, flexible design, flat-packed for easy assembly on site– we’ve pushed the envelope to add available features like integrated video-conferencing, custom lighting that lets you read the mood in the room, booking system integration and personalized design like custom shelves and credenzas, height-adjustable desks and built-in electrical. We’re also announcing Room Sense, our new customer portal that provides insights on space utilization, and guidance for how to bring employees back to work safely.
Everything lives on our brand-new redesigned website, room.com. Check it out and celebrate along with us!
BIG day for ROOM. So proud to share we closed our $12.5 million Series A investment round with participation by Slow Ventures, Lerer Hippeau, SJF Ventures, FJ Labs, and world-renowned architect, Bjarke Ingels. Our flagship phone booths were a game-changer for the open office, and later this month, we’ll welcome the official launch of three new larger format products catering to collaborative and fo #cused work.
