Zachary Bell is a passionate advocate for providing inclusive summer camp experiences to children, emphasizing the importance of diverse youth communities grounded in empathy, empowerment, and equity.

His educational background includes a degree in Education from the University of the Pacific - Gladys L. Benerd School of Education, and a Bachelor's Degree with a major in Urban Studies and a minor in Sustainability and Environmental Management from the University of Pennsylvania, where he maintained an impressive GPA of 3.83.

Throughout his career, Zachary has held various impactful roles, such as Dean Of Students and Restorative Justice Facilitator at Roosevelt Middle School within the Oakland Unified School District. He has also served as a math teacher at schools like Oakland SOL, Frick United, and Julia Morgan School for Girls, as well as a Resident Teacher at Education for Change Public Schools.

Passionate about community-building, Zachary has also co-founded Camp Common Ground — Bay Area, and served as an Afterschool Director at Urban Montessori Charter School. He has contributed his skills in roles like Business Development Analyst at Kidaptive, Inc., Analyst Fellow at Education Pioneers, Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, and Co-founder at Youngist Media Network.

Zachary Bell's diverse professional experience also includes positions such as Operations Associate at C8 Sciences, Freelance Journalist at Salon Media Group, Inc., New Sector Alliance Summer Fellow at Initiative for a Competitive Inner City, and roles as Education Assistant, Course Designer, and Project Manager at the University of Pennsylvania.
