Zeenat Jahan is a dedicated researcher with a background in Translational Medical Research and Clinical Trials, particularly in the field of cancers. Holding a PhD in cell and molecular biology, Zeenat has an extensive research experience spanning over 5 years.

Currently affiliated with the Woolcock Medical Research Institute, Zeenat is part of the colon and lung cancer group, focusing on a project funded by Cancer Council NSW to explore better therapies for chemo-resistant tumors, specifically targeting a subtype of colon cancers marked by a mutated gene known as MCC.

Zeenat's educational journey includes a BSc (Honors) in Microbiology from the University of Dhaka, a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, and an MS in Microbiology, where she secured the 1st Class 3rd Position, also from the University of Dhaka.

Having held various roles in prestigious medical research institutes such as Woolcock Institute of Medical Research, Garvan Institute of Medical Research, UNSW Australia, and Centenary Institute, Zeenat has rich expertise and a strong passion for unraveling the molecular mechanisms underpinning cancers to drive advancements in therapy.
