Highlights
Funny how time flies. When I initially started learning #Blender3d after 13 years away from 3D, this battery power bank was actually what I wanted to model because it was sitting next to me and looked like it would be a fun little modeling challenge. I tried, but didn't know Blender well enough to do it.
Ultimately, I spent 6 months learning #B3D last year but never made the time to try again. And then when I felt like I was finally getting a decent grasp on everything, I unexpectedly ended up spending yet another year away from 3D.
So when I recently picked it up again, I decided to finally fulfill my goal. It technically isn't *finished, but I figured it was good enough to share.
*Needs some texture love and geometry optimization which I'll get to eventually... but now I'm not only delving back into other Blender things, I'm learning #Plasticity too.
So yeah, I've been secretly trying to grow the county's largest pumpkin in my bedroom. $6,421.43 in water bills later, I think I may have succeeded. Problem is, I didn't think through the logistics of growing a giant ass pumpkin inside. It's simply too big to fit through the door! Dammit! ;)
Happy Halloween everyone. 🎃
