Highlights
Great to attend the #GenAI4Pharma event organised by the inimitable Shwen Gwee - the startup showcase in particular was an excellent way to see the multiple innovative young companies in this space. With use cases ranging from protein folding, to hit optimisation through to literature reviews, dossier submission, clinical trial recruitment, and neuroscience diagnostics there was a vast breadth of applications and very clear we're only just scratching the surface of what's possible.
Some of the work our team has been doing combining knowledge graphs with Large Language Models (like ChatGPT) to work with healthcare data. Huge promise with LLMs to simplify a lot of work currently done by hand but still very prone to making mistakes which in a lot of cases can be addressed by using knowledge graphs which crystallise existing knowledge.
