Zhao Chen is a first-generation immigrant and college graduate from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder, class of 2018, with Honors and Distinction. Chen also completed a Minor in Chinese during his time at the university.
Currently, Zhao Chen is working at Google as a recruiter, specifically focusing on identifying and attracting individuals who are keen on starting their careers in the field of software engineering. Prior to his current role, he held various positions at Google, including Solutions Consultant, Associate Account Strategist, and BOLD Intern.
During his academic journey, Zhao Chen studied Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Operations & Information Management. Before moving to university, he completed his high school education at Rocky Mountain High School.
Beyond his academic and professional endeavors, Zhao Chen has been actively involved in numerous organizations. He served as a Family Division Team Lead at New Student & Family Programs at the University of Colorado Boulder. Additionally, he was a Research Assistant at the Diverse Scholars Program and held Public Relations responsibilities at Asian Unity, both at the University of Colorado Boulder.
Further showcasing his leadership skills, Zhao Chen co-founded the Leeds Consulting Group and held the position of Senior Vice President. He also gained experience as a Higher Education & Life Sciences Operations Intern at Huron Consulting Group. Chen served as Vice President of Alumni Relations at Delta Sigma Pi - Alpha Rho Chapter and as Social Chair of the Student Ambassadors at University of Colorado Boulder.
Zhao Chen's early professional experience includes working as a Food Counter Attendant at Raising Cane's. His involvement in extracurricular activities dates back to his time at Rocky Mountain High School, where he served as the Student Body President.
