Zorina Galis

Dr. Zorina Galis is an accomplished professional with a strong educational background and extensive experience in the field of medicine and biophysics. She studied Associates in Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Doctor of Philosophy at McGill University, and Biophysics and Physics at the University of Bucharest.

Throughout her career, Dr. Galis has held key positions in various prestigious organizations. Currently, she serves as the Chief of the Vascular Biology and Hypertension Branch at the National Institutes of Health. Previously, she founded My Lab Your Lab and held leadership roles such as President at Amplinovia, Adjunct Professor of Vascular Surgery at Indiana University Bloomington, Chief Scientific Officer Atherosclerosis at Eli Lilly and Company, Associate Professor of Medicine and Cardiology at Emory University School of Medicine, Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering at The Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University, and Assistant Professor in Biomedical Engineering and Medicine and Cardiology at Emory University School of Medicine. She also has experience as a Senior Principal Investigator at the Institute of Cellular Biology and Pathology.
