After a few months of testing and iteration, we're announcing ✨AI Assist✨ by B12. Get high-quality drafts of entire pages, blog posts, or emails in a minute!

One key detail we spent a good amount of time on: quickly generating long-form content. Through a chain of prompts, we're able to first outline and then expand to multi-section drafts. You'll want to review/vet/personalize, but your draft will start you off on the right foot.

From a product perspective, we focused on completeness of the first draft. For example, a blog post is more than a block of text: we also draft a summary and SEO metadata. These things are obvious if you live on the web, and AI Assist makes them accessible to small businesses.

So proud of Aditya Bharadwaj, Katelyn Gray, Shreya Bamne, Edil Kratskikh, Adina Abdyldaeva, Kristin Vogel, Eryl M., Gleb Surinov, Daniel Haas, Meredith Blumenstock, and Nitesh Banta for making it happen!

As we incorporated generative AI into our product, B12 found it easy to ship but hard to explain. To open us up to constructive critique and hopefully make it easier for other teams to evaluate/discuss AI in their products, we've published How we AI: https://lnkd.in/g2RyDW7e

How we AI is an N=1 guide to how we explain AI-powered tools to our customers, how we describe changes to roles and responsibilities with experts, and how we evaluate and show relatable examples of things not working as they should.

The handbook shares how we evaluated our models using adversarial-but-relevant examples our customers or experts might experience. This allows us to show relevant examples of some bad outcomes.

I'm thankful to Aditya Bharadwaj Shreya Bamne Katelyn Gray Daniel Haas Meredith Blumenstock Ted Benson and Timothy Danford for their work and early feedback on the handbook and evaluation.

Best of all, we've released and permissively licensed How we AI at https://lnkd.in/gaveq9uP. Fork it, remix it, and make it your own!
