Alex Robinson is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in managing IT systems and email services, specifically specializing in Microsoft Exchange and related technologies.

With a strong background in managing enterprise Microsoft Exchange email systems and Active Directory, Alex has been a valuable asset to the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) since 1994, where he has overseen significant migrations and maintained systems to ensure optimal performance.

In Spring 2017, Alex led a successful migration of 45,000 Exchange 2010 mailboxes to Exchange Online within Office 365 at UCSF and continues to support a hybrid environment with Exchange 2016.

Alex's expertise extends to various technologies including Microsoft Exchange 2013 and 2010, Office 365, Windows Server operating systems, VMware virtualization, network infrastructure, and server hardware implementation and troubleshooting.

Furthermore, Alex is proficient in managing Barracuda spam firewalls, F5 Load Balancers, Commvault enterprise backup solutions, Microsoft Data Protection Manager, Symantec NetBackup, Exchange ActiveSync, mobile device management, as well as DNS and Mac OSX.

Alex Robinson studied at Purdue University and has held key roles such as Microsoft Exchange Enterprise Administrator and Computer Systems Administrator at UCSF, showcasing a strong commitment to excellence in IT management and enhancing organizational efficiency.
