Highlights
Anyone else ready to update? ;) (sorting through the archives) #Sonopia
As a big fan of quests, I have long dreamed of finding a project that would require the maximum of my skills in various fields. I got such a chance recently. As a result, a unique medical gadget was created after four months of painstaking work.
What is the uniqueness of this project, you ask.
The project required expertise in analog and digital circuit design, firmware development, work in AutoCAD for PCB design, electromechanical design, industrial design, 3D modeling and printing, making silicone and jewelry resin parts.
Almost all the necessary skills were acquired by me at different times and in different projects. I used some of them at least 30 years ago! Of course, it took a tremendous amount of work to update knowledge in the areas of electronic element base and work in modern AutoCAD systems. But even that didn’t take away my enthusiasm.
Result: three working samples were made and submitted for clinical trials.
Conclusion:
- knowledge requires constant updating,
- all the skills acquired throughout life remain with you forever. ... even if you are over 60 ;)
Feel free to contact me if my experience in these or related areas can be helpful to you.
