Alexander Rubinchik

Owner at Pride of Israel

Alexander Rubinchik is the founder of Pride of Israel 70, a project that created a limited edition Hublot watch to commemorate Israel's 70th anniversary.13 Born to a Jewish family in Soviet Russia, Rubinchik immigrated to Israel at the age of six.1 He served in the IDF Paratroopers as a senior sergeant and commander before pursuing higher education.1

Rubinchik holds five degrees: political science, history, philosophy, MBA, and real estate.1 His passion for watches began in his youth when he saw a Breitling Jubilee model for Israel's 50th anniversary.1

In 2018, Rubinchik partnered with Hublot to create the Titanium Blue Israel watch, a limited edition timepiece celebrating Israel's 70th anniversary.13 The watch features a blue face with Hebrew appliques, a prominent Star of David, and a blue alligator leather strap.3

As part of this project, Rubinchik ensured that a portion of the proceeds from each watch sold would be donated to charity, specifically to support children and IDF soldiers and their families.2 Additionally, 10-20% of the proceeds, depending on the style purchased, go to a scholarship program for soldiers to attend Brandeis University.3
