I'm really excited to share that the Do No Harm Guide: Applying Equity Awareness in Data Visualization, a project that Jonathan Schwabish and I have been working on since last year was finally released today! This 40+ page resource offers suggestions for how those working with, communicating, and visualizing data can ensure their work embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion while not perpetuating harm. I'm very grateful to all the people who shared their thoughts and experiences with us and to the Tableau Foundation for supporting our work. I hope this guide spurs a larger conversation about how data viz can be used for good.
