WEEKLY IMPLEMENT EXPERIENCE NUGGET

How to learn from consultants to become a self-learning organization

An important aspect during an Integrated Business Planning (IBP) transformation project with external consultants is the ability to pick up the know-how from the consultants as quickly as possible and transfer it sustainably into your organization. The aim must be to become independent after the successful completion of a project with external consultants and to carry on the positive business effect of the project.

We see three key levers to create a self-learning IBP organization: 1.      Foster and support self-learning. 2.      Frame the learning needs in a holistic learning framework. 3.      Set the right structural and social conditions for learning. An essential first step towards a self-learning organization is to firmly anchor the learning roadmap as part of an IBP project and implement it step-by-step.
