Dr. Aline Menden is a co-founder and managing director of Endeva.

She specializes in inclusive business models that cater to lower-income populations.

With over twelve years of experience, Aline has worked with a variety of organizations including big corporations like Pfizer, Sanofi, Merck, and Boehringer Ingelheim, as well as international entities like GIZ, the World Bank, USAID, and DFID.

Aline has a strong focus on the health sector, where she has contributed significantly by co-authoring publications and analyzing health business model innovations.

Her consulting work involves assisting companies in developing and executing business models that target low- and middle-income groups in regions like Africa and Asia, particularly focusing on non-communicable diseases such as diabetes and cancer.

She is currently exploring the potential of new technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), to revolutionize healthcare and enhance access to health services, evident in her recent workshop that brought together various stakeholders to discuss innovative solutions.

Aline's expertise lies in understanding the needs of low-income consumers and aligning them with appropriate solutions, gained through field research in countries like Bangladesh, Brazil, the Philippines, and South Africa.

She holds a Ph.D. in "Low-income Consumers as a Source of Innovation" from TUM School of Management and collaborates with universities like TU Berlin and TU München as a guest lecturer.

Her educational background includes studies in Business at TUM School of Management, International Business and Cultural Studies with a regional focus on Latin America at the University of Passau in Germany, and engagements at the Federal University of Bahia in Brazil and Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations.
