Amanda Chessa is a people person, team player, and an agile and curious individual with a strong background in leading qualitative user research for various products and companies in the tech and startup industries.

She has worked with well-known brands like Away Travel, Condè Nast, and WNYC, and collaborated with boutique agencies such as Ueno, Fantasy Interactive, Metalab Design, Prophet, Studio Rodrigo, and Huge Inc, as well as mobile forward startups like VSCO, Say Technologies, Kickstarter, Trash App, Scroll app, and River app to enhance business objectives and elevate user experience on multi-media platforms.

Currently, Amanda is actively seeking new opportunities in the field of UX Research while pursuing her passion for music. She is part of The Heavy Howl band and enjoys making, creating, listening, and sharing music.

Amanda's educational background includes studying Music at Walkabout Program during high school, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Music from SUNY Purchase, studying Songwriting and Theory at Berklee College of Music, and exploring Music and Anthropology at State University of New York College at Oneonta.

Throughout her career, Amanda has held various roles such as Associate Director of User Research at Code and Theory, Member of the Board of Directors at Heights and Hills, UX Researcher at MetaLab, UX Research Lead at Product Inc., and many other positions with companies like VSCO, ueno., Scroll, Fantasy, Away, Studio Rodrigo, Condé Nast, Kickstarter, WNYC Radio, Beme, Firstborn, Perka, Critical Mass, and Huge, showcasing her diverse experience in the field.

Her extensive work history demonstrates her versatility and expertise in UX Research, making her a valuable addition to any team or project.
