Amir Khouzam is a professional with a wealth of experience in humanitarian diplomacy, policy, human rights, and migration.

He holds a Master of International Affairs in International Relations and Affairs from Columbia University in the City of New York as well as a Hon. Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in History from the University of Toronto - University of Trinity College.

Amir has held various roles in prestigious organizations including as a Policy Advisor and formerly as an Associate in Humanitarian Diplomacy and Policy at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

His past experience includes positions such as Programme Assistant at Independent Diplomat, Graduate Consultant at the U.S. Embassy Amman, Teaching Assistant in International Human Rights Law at Columbia SIPA, Managing Editor for Print and Editorial at the Journal of International Affairs, and Program Associate at CCSD مركز المجتمع المدني والديمقراطية.

Amir Khouzam also served in roles at the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital and UNHCR, including as a Project Lead, Intern in the Protection Unit, Site Coordinator, Site Monitor, and Facilitator.

His diverse professional background showcases a strong commitment to issues related to diplomacy, policy, human rights, and supporting vulnerable populations.
