Andrew Chang serves as the Chief Growth Officer at New Energy Nexus, an international organization dedicated to supporting clean energy entrepreneurs through funding, accelerators, and networks. He has been involved with New Energy Nexus since September 2016, initially as a Program Director focusing on the Asia Pacific region, particularly China.24

Chang is recognized as a startup ecosystem builder and marketing specialist, having developed accelerator chapters and climate tech programs across various countries, including China, Thailand, Indonesia, and the UAE. His expertise lies in open innovation and identifying new technologies for corporations in the clean energy sector, especially those focused on electric vehicles and renewable energy.12

Before his role at New Energy Nexus, Chang was a Project Manager at Powerhouse, an incubator and accelerator dedicated to solar energy, where he played a significant role in promoting solar innovation through initiatives like Solar Hackathons. He also has a background in marketing, having worked with major advertising agencies such as TBWA China and Y&R Shanghai, managing high-profile accounts and campaigns.13

Chang holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, Irvine, and has furthered his education with an Executive MBA from the National University of Singapore in collaboration with UCLA.3
