Andrew Chen

Andrew Chen is an ambitious graduate student dedicated to making a positive impact on the world through advancements in aerospace engineering. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Aerospace Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, graduating summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame. Additionally, he has studied at Concordia International School Shanghai. Andrew has been actively involved in various roles at the University of Notre Dame, such as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Graduate Student/Researcher, and Graduate Advisor for Design, Build, Fly program. He has also served as a TNS Think Tank Advisory Board Member at True North School and gained experience as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for multiple engineering courses. Andrew was honored with the 2020 Slatt Fellowship during his time at the university. His previous experience includes roles such as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at University of Notre Dame, Research Assistant at Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), and Aerodynamics Lead at University of Notre Dame Design, Build, Fly.
