Highlights
Everyone talks about Steve Prefontaine's records.
But that's not what made him great.
Pre was great because:
- He overcame childhood bullying to become a champion
- He raced from the front, consequences be damned
- He pushed himself and others to their absolute limits
- He challenged the corrupt amateur sports system
- He connected deeply with fans, drawing huge crowds
Pre didn't just run fast.
He changed the entire sport of distance running.
He showed that greatness isn't just about talent or results.
It's about passion, guts, and fighting for your beliefs.
Are you leaving it all out there like Pre did?
Or are you playing it safe?
Choose greatness.
RIP Pre ❤️

Sustainability in ecommerce isn't just a trend.
It's the future.
But many businesses are doing it wrong.
They think it's about rebranding to include green-sounding language and natural packaging, and then they call it a day.
We can do better.
Real sustainability is about continual action.
Here are some good places to start:
- Ditch the plastic. Use materials that are recyclable or biodegradable.
- Switch to renewable energy sources and cut your carbon footprint. For an inspiring example, visit https://lnkd.in/gFVBqaer (Ross Ciavarella and Chelsea D'Aoust).
- Partner with carbon-neutral shipping companies.
- Source sustainable products. Show you give a sh*t.
- Offer clearer sizing guides = fewer returns = less waste.
- Digital receipts/invoices. Save trees.
- Ethical suppliers only. Fair labour and eco-friendly methods matter.
- Recycle. Compost. Be cleaner.
- Educate your customers. Build an eco-community.
- Get certified. Prove you're legit.
- Never stop improving. Sustainability is a journey, not a destination.
Most businesses just focus on profits.
Smart ones focus on profit and the planet.
Which are you?
Remember: Every small action counts.
Start today.
Your future customers will thank you.
And so will our planet.
