Professor Andrew A. King is a distinguished figure in the realm of environmental performance and innovation, renowned for his impactful research that examines ways for firms to profitably reduce their environmental footprint.

Andy's pioneering work on industry self-regulation has had a profound influence on both private and public policies, shaping the discourse on sustainability.

His current research delves into open source innovation and knowledge sharing, continuing his trailblazing contributions to the field.

With a rich academic background, Andy holds a BA from Brown University, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where his thesis earned the prestigious Zannetos Prize.

He has held esteemed positions including Questrom Chair at Questrom School of Business, Visiting Professor at Harvard Business School, Professor at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, and at NYU Stern School of Business.

Before his academic roles, he accumulated industry experience as a Consulting Engineer and Analyst at Arthur D. Little, Research Engineer, Principal Investigator, and Project Manager at Honeywell, Engineer at Malcolm Lewis Associates, and as a Summer Intern at Rhode Island League of Cities and Towns.
