Andrew Narcomey

Risk and Quantitative Analysis at BlackRock

Andrew Narcomey is a Computer Science graduate from Stanford University with a specific focus on Artificial Intelligence, particularly in Natural Language Processing.

His projects involve creating a chatbot for negotiation, optimizing MRI acquisition, developing evaluation models for machine translation tasks, and designing a sign language teaching app utilizing computer vision technology for real-time feedback.

Currently, Andrew is employed in BlackRock's Risk and Quantitative Analysis division, specializing in equities risk assessment.

Outside of work, Andrew actively engages with the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES), previously serving as the Vice President of Stanford's AISES Chapter and now contributing to the California Professional AISES Chapter.

He presented on AI applications for tribal communities at the AISES National Conference in 2019 and 2020, alongside Austin Narcomey.

Andrew pursued additional studies in Financial Accounting and Economics at Harvard Business School Online and completed his high school education at Marin Catholic High School.
