After an amazing few years in sales at Figma, I’m chasing a dream. I’m excited to share that I’m kicking off my recruiting and investing career as a Principal at The Cannon Project (TCP), under the leadership of Ian Feeney.
My friends and family tell me I’m a networker at heart. Working at LinkedIn taught me that relationships matter. Building sales at Esusu from Seed -> Series B showed me that talent should be every company’s top priority. And as a seller for the past 8 years, I’ve learned that people buy from people.
That’s why I’m ready to make recruiting my full-time job — to help candidates find their dream opportunities and build sales careers at startups where every deal makes a difference.

The past two years have given me the early-stage startup ride I always wanted. When I joined Esusu full-time in Jan. 2021, we were a Seed company with less than 20 employees globally. Samir & Wemimo tasked me with building a sales playbook, hiring AEs ASAP, buying software, joining investor calls, and - of course - selling our Rent Reporting, ESG and Rent Relief services into residential real estate. Looking back, I didn’t really know where to start. But that’s why they call it a startup, right?
Over the past 2 years, Esusu has grown to 180 employees, 20x’ed revenue, raised $140m in VC funding, and kept the same impact-driven vision we started with: Bridge the racial wealth gap through the power of data. I’ve been proud to work alongside the Esusu Village everyday. Thank you to this amazing team, many of whom I know will stay in my life forever (too many to tag - you know who you are).
To new beginnings in 2023. I’m excited to join Figma today as an Enterprise AE in NYC! Thank you to Shaunt, Marissa, Mason, Nic, Shelley, Annie & Erica, who made me feel like a million bucks throughout my interview process. And thank you to Antoine, Chris, Kristin, Stephanie, Brandon, Shani & Bree for answering my countless texts/calls and championing me each step of the way.
I’m honored to join this team and mission to make design accessible for all. Let’s go!!!
