I recently had the privilege of participating in a panel discussion at the Leading with AI Conference at Harvard Business School, where we explored the intersection of AI and the future of business technology.
Key discussion points include:
- Accountability Matrix: Creating an Accountability Matrix to guide decisions around AI usage in companies. This ensures individuals and teams are held accountable for AI outcomes.
- Internal Committee Dedicated to Evaluating Risk: The need for internal supervisory mechanisms to evaluate and manage AI-related risks. Such a committee should oversee AI activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement best practices for risk management.
- Limiting Data Access: Controlling access to data to prevent unauthorized usage and potential security breaches by limiting access to sensitive information.
Grateful to Digital Data Design (D^3) Institute at Harvard for hosting this event and to my fellow panelists Jonathan Zittrain and Noah Feldman for their insights and engaging discussion. The transformative role of AI in business operations and strategy means there is much more to come!
