We’re super excited to share that the UN has adopted the proposal for #InternationalDayofPlay! Join us and all our partners and children on June 11th, to help put play back on the agenda 🎉 🎉 🎉 Play is a fundamental right for every child. Yet, the importance of play in helping children develop life-long skills is often forgotten. Did you know that it’s part of every child’s birthright to play? According to our research, only 30% of adults are aware of this. And having surveyed more than 25,000 children, 73% don’t believe grown-ups take play – and how it can help them learn – seriously. Join the movement and help champion and protect all children's right to play! 🙌 Learn more -> https://lnkd.in/dX4ZiyaW
Big congratulations to everyone involved!!! Wooo! Rukayah, Sarah, Rilito Povea

It’s time to celebrate the creative power of girls! Small changes to our language can make a big difference and help remove the pressure for perfection to let her play unstoppable 💫☄️🙌
Did you know that 71% of parents say girls are more likely than boys to hold back developing their creative ideas, because of pressure for perfection and fear of failure?
Or that society is around 7x more likely to attribute terms like “sweet”, “pretty”, “cute” and “beautiful” exclusively to females. While terms such as “brave”, “cool”, “genius” and “innovative” are twice as likely to be attributed exclusively to males?
Let’s rebuild the narrative!

Furthermore, on #InternationalWomensDay we’re launching #GirlsUnstoppable together with #SavetheChildren – a new initiative aiming to support over 10,000 girls aged between 10 and 13, in China, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Mexico to advocate for their rights and become 'unstoppable' leaders of the future.
To break gender barriers and cultural norms that inhibit girls, the global programme will indirectly reach over 330,000 girls, boys, caregivers, teachers and communities, while also indirectly reaching 2.2 million people via online activities.
