Highlights
It was 33 years ago that I went for my first haircut at Harvard Square's legendary barbershop, La Flame, and discovered the maestro George. I cannot count the Saturday's where I've tried to nab one of the first slots around 6:45-7:00am. It was great to catch up this morning with George again. At 90, he maintains the pride of a great business owner and is sharp as ever remembering unbelievable details of his regulars from hair style preferences to names of kids and business discussions. When we founded MiniLuxe, I immediately went to George to ask him how he managed his La Flame and other barbershops he owned so well. Thanks George for another day of wisdom and friendship!
