I'm excited to announce that GeoCV team has joined Occipital!

Occipital is a leading spatial computing company. GeoCV has been successfully using Occipital’s Structure Sensor as a part of the GeoCV Scanner. Occipital’s products span from 3D capture of objects, rooms and huge spaces to powering AR, VR and robotics.

In cooperation with GeoCV team Occipital has launched a Research & Development office in Moscow, and is now actively recruiting for additional computer vision, 3D visualization and software engineering talent.

Occipital will not be acquiring the Virtual Open House™ product from GeoCV. The Occipital Moscow R&D office will instead be focused on advancing existing Occipital product lines.

Since my first student project 15 years ago I had a dream to empower computers to see and understand the world in 3D, so humans could seamlessly bridge physical and digital realities. By joining the teams we will accelerate realizing a mutual vision of democratizing 3D capture.

I want to sincerely thank everyone who has believed in us, and hope we've benefited to them as well:

  • My family and especially my wife
  • My eternal co-founder Gleb Krivovyaz
  • Amazing GeoCV team
  • Supportive GeoCV investors
