Can you help reach our target - 10K in 3 hours !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Working with Solar United Madagascar we have until NOON TODAY to transform the lives and futures of thousands of families in rural Madagascar. Living without any electricity - and with no hope of accessing it - is the reality for more than 90% of those families.
This is not acceptable. Together we have the solutions: Solar United Madagascar is a partnership that brings these solutions together for right now and for new futures.
With the support of match funders we can harness the power of the sun to bring light, education, hope and opportunity. If we can reach total of £100K will pay for equipment for 20 light libraries reaching approx 6,000 students and their families.
How does it work? SolarAid Aid brings know how on solar lamps and light libraries which are charging powerbanks during the day for use in the evenings at home, leaving no one behind in the energy transition. Jiro-Ve bring the social enterprise skills to source and install panels, and train local communities to manage their energy infrastructure. Feedback Madagascar, SEED Madagascar and Money for Madagascar bring deep community engagement and programming in education - for pupils and their communities, resilient forests, dynamic agroforestry, livelihood development. The first 45 schools have been powered by the Aeonian Foundation, please add your support to Power Up Madagascar.
#Madagascar is the poorest country in the world not currently in conflict. Madagascar is hit by cyclones, famine and drought caused by climate change.
We are all committed to this partnership. We ask you to support us though the Big Give #GreenMatchFund by 12 noon TODAY https://lnkd.in/ejS-sY56
