Ato Kwamena Onoma is a respected researcher specializing in mobility, identity, belonging, and intercommunal relations in Africa.

Onoma has extensive field research experience across various African countries, particularly in West, East, and Southern Africa.

He is the author of notable works like 'The Politics of Property Rights Institutions in Africa' (2009) and 'Anti-refugee Violence and African Politics' (2013), published by Cambridge University Press.

Fluent in both English and French, Ato Onoma also possesses intermediate competence in Portuguese.
