We’re in KL! Realised while we were having breakfast that the last time Zames Chua and I travelled together was when we were interning in Silicon Valley under the NUS Overseas Colleges Program! Dug out a photo of then and now — from housemates to starting Waffle (Iterative S22) together! :)
Excited to be in KL together this week to meet our customers, and new friends in the f&b space! 🙌 We’ll keep wafflin’ it up!
Continuing our Waffle (Iterative S22) series of sharing the inspiring stories behind our local businesses with Madeline — founder of Mad Roaster!
Madeline is redefining what it means to run an F&B business at Mad Roaster — where each cup of coffee is a vehicle for refugee’s livelihoods 🙌 Her story is one of the most inspiring! I remember reading an article about Madeline when we first started Waffle (Iterative S22), and was so determined to partner up and be part of such an amazing mission!
Did y’all know that 2 cups of coffee at Mad Roaster can provide for a meal for a refugee in Iraq?
More about Madeline’s journey and how Mad Roaster is supporting refugee’s livelihoods — one cup of coffee at a time; in the link in comments ☕️
