Bethany Koby is a visionary entrepreneur and proud mother who co-founded Tech Will Save Us in 2012, a business aimed at inspiring kids to become creators of technology through hands-on products and digital tools.

Along with Learn More, we have been developing a set of experiences and measurements for kids all about connecting and caring for the ocean and blue spaces - rivers, lagoons, ponds etc. The work explores the intersection of art and science and the sense of awe that we feel in blue spaces and how this impacts our creativity and connection to the natural world.
These workshops took place in the beautiful Ocean Space, in Venice, Italy amongst the incredible art work titles the Soul Expanding Ocean. The artists Dineo Seshee Bopape and Diana Policarpo developed immersive works in the space that became the backdrop to the workshops. Kids drew themselves underwater while listening to the waves crash and visual feast of Dineos work. They then moved and danced through the giant rocks of Diana's boulders embedded with small screens that transported them to distant islands. They kids ranging from 5-8 reflected on their experiences with drawings and words and left full of emotions and feelings of awe.
It was an absolute joy to work on this with the entire TBA21 team as well as our team at Fam. Alba Suárez Zapico Zelda Yanovich Cecilia Franchi Chris Catton Seamus White.
I am very proud of what we are developing here and the impact and importance of expanded ways of knowing are for kids in this next decade.
