Highlights
In this District of Delaware data breach class action, Cooley LLP obtained a complete dismissal of all claims against our client Archetype, a venture fund that had made a small investment in a crypto bridge that suffered a data incident--yet was sued in a class action seeking nine figures damages. I served as the litigation partner on the case, working alongside my amazing colleagues Rebecca Tarneja and Nachiketa Baru. We're pleased with and grateful for the court's decision in this matter.
In true Cooley "it takes a village" fashion, we were supported in this litigation by Derek Colla, Adam Fleisher, Daniel Grooms, and James Dionne on advisory issues related to financial regulation and liability in the crypto space. It's awesome to collaborate with our colleagues across the litigation-advisory divide to deliver these clear-cut wins for our clients.
