The Alchemy of Branding Medicine For These Times : The Psychedelic Entrepreneur with Beth Weinstein

In the words of Beth Weinstein, “The first time I got to play around with my new branding I felt an internal shift in my being. I was like, oh, this is the alchemy of new branding. I felt like I stepped into the next level.”

This is what I aim to do when working with my clients' brand identity. With deep listening and intention I use all my senses to create a visual interpretation of Beth’s business. The visuals are grounded in nature, inspired by deities and spirit animals to reflect the present and future of Beth’s brand. The outcome for Beth was a brand identity that emulated her true essence.

Beth Weinstein is a pioneer in the psychedelic world. As a business coach, podcaster, mastermind facilitator, online summit organizer she lives in inspired action with a fierce commitment to her vision; for people to be happy, authentic and evolve consciousness. Beth believes we all have unique medicine inside ourselves and we are the medicine for these times.

At the completion of the project I had the pleasure of being interviewed on Medicine For These Times : The Psychedelic Entrepreneur with Beth Weinstein. It was such a wonderful experience to celebrate our co-creation and look back at the journey we both went through together.

My process working with clients is unorthodox. You can learn more about my process by listening to the interview: Bina Altera: Elevating Business with Authentic & Aligned Branding, Episode 136, The Psychedelic Entrepreneur Podcast with Beth Weinstein here: https://lnkd.in/eu55mmZn

Many of you know I worked at the School of Visual Arts for many years. A year ago I left a secure job, my health benefits, paid vacation, 401K, my beautiful light-filled office and wonderful colleagues. I knew for several years I had to make a change and I searched for a new career path while holding (if I’m being honest here … while I was clinging) onto my “security.” I spent all my extra money on transformation program after program, thinking the answer was outside of me and someone else was going to put a gold olive leaf on my head, pronounce me Priestess Bina (leftover magical thinking from childhood) and give me permission to do what I really wanted to do.

As you can imagine, that didn’t happen (lol). So I put the gold olive leaf on my own head and I gave myself permission to take a bold risk, quit my job and I started a branding and web design business. I literally called a friend and asked if she would like help branding her coaching business (we had had a conversation a year prior about it). Thank you, Kasey Corsello, PCC for trusting me.

A year later I’m still doing it! and I’m excited to take my business to the next level, by clarifying my offering, developing my creative and technical skills and branching out by collaboration with other talented brand and web designers.

What I’ve learned this first year in business; -No one is going to give you permission to do what you want to do. You are the only person who can do that. -Doing things differently takes thinking differently. Get a coach or a mentor. Shout out to Stephanie Guttenplan and Art & Anthropology for your invaluable support.  -Do your inner work and find those limiting beliefs and their origins. My biggest one was “I’m not enough.” -Don’t believe your feelings. Feelings are fleeting. Get super clear about your vision and believe in yourself. If you forget, call a friend who can see your higher self and remind you. -You are going to feel incompetent there is no way to avoid that. Remember the teacher is in the room when you’re feeling uncomfortable. There is a lesson waiting for you to learn. -Do your daily practices. Chop wood - carry water.

If you are ready to give yourself permission to create the business you’ve always dreamed of, want an authentic brand and website that resonates with your core values and purpose and will magnetize your dream clients send me a private message here or grab some time here https://lnkd.in/gdh5CuNP  and we’ll discuss how you will get there.
