As a part of our continuing efforts, MFA will be enforced by default for all human users in any new Snowflake account starting October 1.
Our commitment to security doesn’t stop there. We’re working on extending these stronger authentication policies to all existing Snowflake accounts — with the eventual expectation to completely eliminate password-only sign-ins to Snowflake.
