Brenda Sciepura

Brenda Sciepura is a seasoned professional with a rich background in fostering local development through small business creation and employment for over 12 years.

She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, where she also completed her Master of Public Affairs at the Goldman School of Public Policy.

In addition to her academic qualifications, Brenda also pursued a Master of Public Administration and Policy from Universidad de 'San Andrés' and an Executive Program in Global Competitiveness Leadership from Georgetown University.

Her educational journey includes undergraduate degrees in International Relations and Political Science from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina 'Santa María de los Buenos Aires'.

Brenda's professional experience includes roles such as Research Fellow and Graduate Student Researcher at The People Lab at Harvard Kennedy School and University of California, Berkeley respectively.

She has also served as a Manager of Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation, Family Development, and worked on Cultural Change & Civic Engagement at the Buenos Aires City Government.

Furthermore, Brenda has held positions as an Inclusive Finance Lead Consultant for Latin America at PlaNet Finance, CSR & Sustainability Advisor at Unidad Com Empresa & Comunidad, and Microfinance Officer at Banco Columbia S.A.

She has contributed her time as a volunteer at Fundacion DISCAR and Asociación Civil Mujeres 2000, showcasing her commitment to social causes.

Brenda's expertise lies in workforce development, behavioral science, and public management, focusing on behaviorally-informed research concerning resident-government interactions and service delivery outcomes.
