Perfection does not exist and it’s a delusion that women and people of color need to let go of.

We’ve been taught to seek perfection: work 150% harder, make straight As, find the perfect job, be the perfect spouse, live the perfect life in the perfect neighborhood. None of that brings joy. None of that ensures we thrive.

We thrive when we let go of someone else’s expectations of us. When we recognize our talents, and nurture it. When we surround ourselves with folks who see our light and also with those who tell us the truth. When we work hard together, in unity, in love. When we give ourselves and others, grace.

Let’s thrive together. ❤️
