Highlights
Starting on a bit of an adventure this World Bicycle Day — a 4,500-mile bikepacking trip around Britain's best bits.
Each time I visit I'm always impressed by the people-friendly improvements made to Walthamstow thanks to the £27 million the Labour council got from then London Mayor Boris Johnson in 2014. The place is rapidly becoming Bike Town, with cargo bikes passing every few seconds on the network of main road and side road cycleways now lacing the borough.
I visited the Landor Links birthday celebration event yesterday for local authority urban planners with my YouTuber son Josh and we worked on this video together. I also recorded enough audio for three podcasts.
