Carol Davey is a seasoned environmental advocate currently serving as the Managing Field Director at the Ohio Environmental Council (OEC). She has a rich background in environmental policy, field advocacy, and promoting equity and inclusion. Carol hails from Cheshire, southeastern Ohio, and has dedicated her career to creating safe and vibrant communities through her work in environmental advocacy.34

Her professional journey includes significant roles such as the Federal Advocacy Manager for Florida Conservation Voters and the Rental Energy Efficiency Program Director for Empower G&E. Additionally, Carol has been involved with the Ohio Climate Justice Fund’s Advisory Board and was an inaugural member of the Highlander Research and Education Center’s Appalachian Just Transition Fellowship.12

Carol holds Bachelor’s degrees in Communication and Peace and Social Justice with a concentration in Political Science from Berea College. She furthered her education with a Master’s Degree in International Peace Studies from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.12
