Caroline Phillips is a dedicated educator and teacher leader known for her expertise in driving systems-level change and fostering professional growth within the education sector. Her current role involves leading the Instructional Leadership Team at her school, designing and implementing professional learning programs, and collaborating with school leaders to create tailored action plans based on data-driven insights and instructional priorities. Caroline's teaching practice and innovative teacher development models have received recognition at the district, national, and international levels.

Beyond her leadership position, Caroline is a Master Teacher at Math for America, where she is actively involved in designing and facilitating professional development sessions for exceptional STEM teachers in New York City. She also continues to make an impact as a Middle Grades Science Teacher, applying her experience in curriculum design and content development within the EdTech realm. Her focus lies in developing culturally responsive and accessible learning materials in alignment with the Next Generation Science Standards.

Caroline's commitment to education excellence is underscored by her accolades as a Big Apple Teaching Award Nominee and a National Board Certified Teacher. Outside of her professional endeavors, Caroline enjoys activities such as exercising, reading, and cooking.

Caroline's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology and Society from Cornell University, a Master’s Degree in Adolescent Science Education from Pace University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Plant Molecular Biology from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, and a Regents Diploma with Advanced Distinction from Massapequa High School.

Throughout her career, Caroline has held various key positions in reputable organizations, including roles such as UFT/DOE Peer Collaborative Teacher at the NYC Department of Education, Content Developer at InnerOrbit, UFT/DOE Model Teacher at NYC Department of Education, and Early Career Fellow at Math for America. She has also contributed significantly as a Teaching Fellow at NYC Teaching Fellows.
