Before jumping into my final year of my undergrad, I wanted to take a minute to properly wrap up the last few months of activities - because what a summer! ☀️

I’m particularly proud of my teams in Project Access, who, once again, have surprised me with their ambition, passion and drive in the arrangement of yet another round of successful Bootcamps, helping even more Nordic students get one step closer to their dream of studying at a top university abroad 🚀

This year, Project Access Denmark 🇩🇰 hosted our second Bootcamp. Once again, the beautiful surroundings at Gorrissen Federspiel set the scene for our 28 extremely talented Danish students, who all were taken through rounds of mock interviews, personal statement workshops and a presentation from the University of Cambridge.

To that, Project Access Sweden 🇸🇪 and Norway 🇳🇴 each arranged their first virtual kick-off Bootcamps with overall 50 selected participants. This was done not only by the manpower of the teams but also with the help of the wonderful Ellie Wood from Cambridge and Vilde from Aker Scholarship. Really looking forward to seeing where this will go in the next couple of years! 🙏

Seeing how these types of events motivate and push every single one of the participants is highly affirmative and confirms that the work we do in Project Access actually works. While issues such as Brexit and the ever-rising tuition fees of the world's top universities are making the circumstances unnecessarily difficult (and expensive!) for international students, collaborating with organisations like Gorrissen Federspiel and Aker Scholarship is a crucial step towards more diverse and accessible education and the proof that the Nordic community is willing to push for this!

Regardless of all of the above, I am forever grateful for the amazing people who have been involved in the three Bootcamps - both inside and outside Project Access 🙏 As this also concludes my time as part of Project Access International, I could not be more excited to go back to the Danish team and geek out on the tiny Bootcamp details that will make the experience even better for future participants.
