Chandra holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Oceanography, Chemical and Physical from the University of Delaware, a B. Tech in Naval Architecture from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and has also studied at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
Throughout their career, Chandra has held prominent roles in various prestigious organizations. They have been a Co-Founder at Sundial and Inspirit.work, the Chief Data Scientist at Sequoia Capital, and held Director positions in Analytics at Facebook. Chandra has also served as a Senior Manager in Risk Management at Paypal, a Senior Research Scientist at the National Weather Service/SAIC, and as Faculty/Senior Scientist at Mississippi State University/Center of Higher Learning.
Prior to these roles, Chandra gained valuable experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Naval Research Laboratory and worked as a Wildlife Supervisor at Tristate Bird Rescue.
