Throughout my work I’ve prioritized solving problems, a love of learning and creating social impact.
Being inspired by entrepreneurs in my community catalyzed a pivot from software engineering to product development in 2020. In that pivot, I started to learn more about early-stage startups and working with non-technical founders. I started in consulting and have worked directly with founders, mentored in accelerators, hired as the first employee at startups and contracting with support organizations.
I like working with tech startups and within the startup ecosystem because there is so much potential to build and impact people's lives. There is a lot in the startup ecosystem that works, but only if a founder knows about the resource at the right time for their needs. My passion for startups is not only in MVP development, but identifying other gaps in the startup ecosystem, like startup employee education, founder-investor relations and pinpointing a startup’s progress.
I don’t want to do this work alone. By partnering with other organizations, I can implement new solutions for long-term impact.
