Chiara Sommer-Yusupov is an accomplished Investment Director at Intel Capital EMEA in Munich, spearheading strategic transactions across Central, Eastern, and Northern European countries since 2018. She specializes in identifying and evaluating opportunities in Cloud, Silicon, Devices, and Frontier Tech sectors.
Prior to her tenure at Intel Capital, Chiara excelled at High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), a renowned seed stage venture capital fund, where she managed numerous financing rounds and collaborated with top German and international investors. With a strong entrepreneurial inclination, she founded an online advice startup and gained valuable experience in Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan and Management Consulting at goetzpartners.
Chiara's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Business Studies with a specialization in Finance from Cass Business School, London. She also completed an ERASMUS year abroad focusing on International Business and Management at Bocconi University, Milan. Chiara is currently on parental leave until January 2023.
